What is the cost of DESKIT?

Is Prosoc Innovators a nonprofit/ NGO?

No. PROSOC Innovators Pvt. Ltd. is a for-profit social enterprise.

Can Prosoc Innovators directly implement a CSR project?

No. Being a private limited company, Prosoc can work with Foundations that can directly procure DESKITs from Prosoc Innovators and provide them to the children in their community. Prosoc also has a network of NGO partners who can be introduced to the project for on-ground implementation.

What is the weight of DESKIT?

We have 2 sizes available- the smaller one is suitable for classes 1st to 5th and the bigger DESKIT is more suitable for classes 6th to 10th. 

The smaller one weighs 1.25 kg, with the table. And the bigger one weighs 1.3 kg.

Isn’t the bag heavy for a child?

DESKIT is designed for government school children who often carry their books in a polybag or a sack.  Also, especially in rural areas, a child doesn’t carry many books to school. They mostly leave it in the school itself, besides they share the same books with other children as well. Hence, weight is not a problem for many.

We work pan-India. To date, we have reached over 5,50,000 Students across 22 states of India.

Do you do door deliveries?

Yes, we do door deliveries across India.

Is there any MOQ? / I want to procure only 50 bags, can you deliver them?  

No. You can order 1 bag also. The only condition is, if we deliver less than 100 units to 1 location, then there is an additional charge of Rs. 120/ DESKIT. 

How soon can you deliver?

After finalizing everything, we take 30 days for production + delivery.

Products like DESKIT are already available in the market, what’s new in DESKIT?

There are a lot of options for school bags available in the market but DESKIT intends to solve a problem. 

We serve children who do not have basic infrastructures like tables available in school and at home. This not only affects their learning outcomes but also their health when they have no option but to sit on the ground and study with hunched back for long hours. Also, since DESKIT is portable, the child can use it anywhere they intend to study, be it at school, after school learning center or at home.
